Every aircraft should carry at least a few safety flares, but did you know there's more colors than just the standard red? Orion® 907 12-Gauge White Aerial Signal Flares have white color and are easily seen at night, particularly in areas where there is no other lighting. The signal flares are designed to alert approaching vessels of your location, helping search and rescue crews in their mission. The signal flares can also be used in safety drills and for practice firing flare guns. Orion® 907 12-Gauge White Aerial Signal Flares meet the same standards as red flares, but are not USCG or SOLAS approved, as there are currently no standards for white flares.Orion® 907 12-Gauge White Aerial Signal Flares are easily seen from a distance. The signal flares reach up to 300 feet altitude and burn for an incredible 7 seconds before safely extinguishing. The 12-gauge flares work with a standard 12-gauge flare gun or a 25 mm launcher outfit with a converter. While Orion® 12-Gauge Flares may not replace your standard red flares, it's still a good idea to add a 12-gauge flare to your collection. You can also order 12ga flare shells for training purposes. The 12-gauge Orion flare gun must be ordered separately.
